Salah Issues Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that the Egyptian forward apologised to the team after the fallout from his recent interview.

He was omitted from a European match following voicing frustrations and stating his connection to the head coach had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The manager has previously declined to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
The player stated that the team's response stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “I understand there are certain ways you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the period after the interview fallout. He feels the outburst were not intended to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and on a positive run.”
