A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins in 2008.
Some of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as small-screen adaptations.
He has published over four dozen titles combined, which features a Christmas book named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
From Screen to Page
He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE in 2017 for his services to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This development follows the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss last fall.
