The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The influential video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, as reported by.
